I captured this on the way home from Springfield ,Ill. I just made my husband stop so I could get this photo. I just love how the farm was a Silhouette right before it began to storm. I was trying to capture the lighting ,but that did not happen, however I did get this beautiful sunset with nasty storm clouds. Springfield, Ill is about 2 hours from my house.The city lies on a mostly flat plain which encompasses much of the surrounding countryside. Lots of farm land in between.Weather is fairly typical for middle latitude locations, with hot summers and cold winters. Spring and summer weather is like that of most midwestern cities; severe thunderstorms are common.
